Stress and burnout is something we unfortunately come across more and more often. In general stress can be divided into positive stress (provides us with healthy anticipation and excitement) and on the other hand the negative stress (takes us down physically – headaches, gastrointestinal problems, insomnia etc. and emotionally – feelings of depression, anxiety etc.). In addition all these symptoms mentioned above can lead to problems we might have at work, at home, or with our social environment. The key to handling stress is to learn to set limits when possible and be aware of the fact that we need to dedicate some time to ourselves. Although it is not possible nowadays to lead a life without any stress, but throughout therapy you can learn how to manage stress, keep it under control and find out particular ways to minimize the impact your stress might have on you.
